What is High-Performance Web Hosting?
Hog the Web has recently partnered with WPEngine to create a Custom, High-Performance Web Hosting Server, and are offering slots to select websites!
Comparable hosting plans cost upwards of $400/month. By carefully selecting and optimizing the websites on our server, we can offer this same performance at a fraction of the cost.
While we manage the server, you have your own login to WPEngines dashboard to manage things like website backups, SFTP accounts, Staging/Dev sites and more. Billing is monthly and there’s no long-term commitment so you can cancel or migrate your site away anytime.

How it Works
How can we offer a high-performance server at a fraction of the cost?
On typical shared hosting plans, you share the same server resources with up to 200 random websites. On our high-performance server, we don’t accept bloated and poorly built sites (unlike the websites we build) and run a much smaller number of websites on the same hardware.
It’s like buying a ticket on a flight with 200 other random passengers versus booking the whole flight and splitting the cost between 20 of your friends. You can probably imagine which flight will be a more enjoyable experience.
Most hosting providers want you to pay for the entire dedicated server yourself. That’s like booking the entire flight just for yourself! By splitting the cost and server resources, we can all enjoy much better performance than a standard shared hosting account without the full cost burden of a whole dedicated server.
